Moonlight Sonata Movement One

This song was originally composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. It is also called WoO 59, Sonata quasi una Fantasia, and Piano Sonata Number 14 in C-Sharp Minor.

Many say that Beethoven wrote this for a woman for which he yearned. But many argue: was it a love forbidden, or a woman only in his dreams that he'd never met? We may never know.

I've been working to get the other movements completed, but this takes quite a bit of time. When they are ready they will be added to this page. In the meantime, enjoy passionate longing Beethoven style.
