Self Preparation to Invite My Soulmate into My Life
by Deborah Lowrey
There are steps we can take to dramatically improve our situation. Ways to improve our choices. I'm a Three of Diamonds, that hardest card in the deck to find love and happiness. But the most important lesson I've learned in life is that we do have love and happiness and it always starts with ourselves. What did I do?
I got happy.
People ask how I lost 125 pounds and have kept it off for almost nine years (and counting). I got happy.
People ask how I changed everything about me and radically changed my personality, my looks, my thoughts... I got happy.
"I got happy" seems so simple. But for me that was what I had always wanted. There are ways to find out what will help you get happy too. Other articles will be included on this site, find a tool that helps you connect and understand yourself, get a reading, learn how to do readings yourself, explore and learn more about what captivates you. But find whatever it is that you need to say "I got happy". With this happiness, you will unlock the mysteries within, learn to really love yourself, and prepare yourself with the partner that is tailor made for you.
The Cards can help you understand what kind of personal relationship you really want. As an example, my Sun Card, the 3 of Diamonds, is on the Uranus and Mercury lines. Uranus is the ultimate friendship. There is no choke-hold, as many use, to keep their lover. Open arms with hands out is the way I love. Hands to freely give and share from within myself. Hands to freely receive love from without myself. Arms open to let go and love others as I would have them love me and always be ready to hug and embrace.
I want my individuality. I want to be a valued partner and human being. I don't want to give up being me to finally have someone 'love' me or make me ok. How could I be loved or ok if I wasn't even present or needed in the equation? I want someone to really love ME. I want a spiritual relationship with someone who has awareness and not only believe in self help but applies those beliefs to their life. This is exactly what my Cards represent and it's what I've always longed for.
I, a while back, was listening to and studying the statistics regarding relationships. In one word, dismal. After that research, I was convinced that I would have no one and I was going to be on my own and alone the rest of my life. And I was ok with that. I resolved that that was the way things were going to be.
Thank goodness the Universe gives us a kick in the rear sometimes and proves us wrong. In a nutshell, the most important relationship you will have in life, is the one with yourself. Once you are loving and accepting of yourself and all that you are, you are prepared to have a loving and accepting relationship with others.
